The You-City, arriving January 15th!

I wrote a book. 

It's called The You-City, and it is a digital download, released on January 15th from publisher Outpost 19, on major digital booksellers. Found here.

Boulder Bike Share = NYC Future

Earlier this month NYC Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan announced the city's new 10,000 strong, bicycle sharing program, to be rolled out next summer. A few days later in Boulder, Co., a city with its own bike share program, I got a taste of how this new program would work. I had arrived for a conference, co-sponsored by Regional Plan Association. I needed to run an errand before the kick-off dinner, to buy an expensive piece of computer equipment, in fact. My hotel told me there was a suitable store about ten blocks away — a good walk, but doable. Eight blocks in, my map app on my IPhone told me that estimate was about ten blocks short of reality. I was going to be late to dinner unless I found a faster way to get there and back.
